Our New Year's Eve was spent at home, falling asleep before midnight, only to wake up a few minutes before the countdown so we could have a glass of champagne and cheers to the new year. Before we nestled in for the night, we walked past Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace, which were crowded with plenty of excited and enthused Bostonians ready to ring in 2013.
Luckily, we were all too content to lead a very boring New Year's Eve, which was very perfect indeed.
